The TurkishBank Group began its operations in Türkiye in 1982 by opening the Istanbul branch of Turkish Bank Limited, which had been established in Cyprus. In 1988, Turkish Bank Ltd. opened its second branch in Izmir, followed by a branch in Mersin the next year, and later in Ankara, thereby expanding its service network in Türkiye. The TurkishBank Group’s operations in Türkiye gained a separate legal identity as Turkish Bank A.Ş. on December 27, 1991, transitioning from its status as a foreign bank.
TurkishBank’s primary areas of activity encompass corporate, commercial, individual, and private banking, as well as project financing and fund management. In addition to its regular banking operations, the Bank also conducts agency activities on behalf of Turkish Securities Inc. through its branches. As of December 31, 2025, Turkish Bank A.Ş., with a paid-in capital of 600 million TRY, operates 6 branches and 8 ATMs across the country.
